For the second year in a row, the final needs a thirteenth and deciding set to proclaim a winner. Only top players compete in the semi finals. O’Shea beats Ted Hankey and King wins against Australians Tony David. Number one of the world Raymond van Barneveld loses surprisingly to Rick Hofstra in the last 16.
