World Masters Ladies 2008

From 5 to 7 December, the Winmau World Masters is held for the twenty-seventh time for the ladies. The Royal Spa in Bridlington after a restoration is once again the venue.

It is the third time that Francis Hoenselaar bring the title to the Netherlands. Hoenselaar beats the Russian Anastasia Dobromyslova in the final with 4-3. En route to the final Hoenselaar has already dealt with some top names including Tricia Wright and Lisa Ashton.

For Dobromyslova it is the first time that she reaches the final after victories over Louise Carroll and Julie Gore. Francis Hoenselaar with this victory is the third lady, after Mandy Solomons and Trina Gulliver, who wins the World Masters title three times.
