WDF World Cup Men Pairs 1983

The British dominated the World Cup IV, which was held in Edinburgh, Scotland from October 21 to 22. At the general meeting of the WDF Peter McMenamin from Australia was elected as the new president. He replaced Bill Turner from New Zealand. For the first time there was also a World Cup for women in 1983.

In the Pairs England’s Lowe and Bristow again took the gold medal. They defeated the Scottish duo Jocky Wilson and Danny Cunningham 4-2 in the final. Leighton Rees and Alan Evans (Wales) and Terry O'Dea and David Crack (Australia) took the bronze.
