WDF World Cup Ladies Overall 1987

Valby Hallen, Copenhagen
From: Thursday 22 October 1987
Till: Saturday 24 October 1987

From 22 to 24 October 1987, the sixth World Cup was played in the Vally Sports Complex in the Danish capital Copenhagen. Twenty-three countries participated in the men’s event. No less than 200 supporters joined the New Zealand team and before the competition started they showed the traditional "Maori" war dance as a warm up.

21 Countries participated in the third World Cup for women in the Danish capital. The big question was whether the English ladies could keep the overall title, which they held since the 1st World Cup in 1983.

The Overall title went to the USA for the first time with 74 points. Netherlands was second with 57 points. Third place went to Canada with 44 points. And in fourth place, the English ladies 'only' gathered 24 points.
