Sydney Darts Masters 2015

In 2015, the PDC returns to Sydney as part of the World Tour. The new venue is the Qantas Credit Union Arena. The Sydney Darts Masters were played from August 20 till 22.

Phil Taylor still remains unbeatable in Australia. He wins in Sydney for the third consecutive year, after two victories in Perth also. In the final, The Power beats Adrian Lewis comfortably; 11-3. Taylor tops off his victory with a nine-darter. He does so in his semi-final against Peter Wright. It's the first nine darter in the World Series ever and also the first one on TV on Australian soil.

Not one of the eight Australian players gets through the first round, although Whitlock comes very close, he loses 5-6 to Lewis.
