In 2014 Perth is added as a stop on the World Tour. After the success of Sydney a year earlier, a second stop in Australia is a logical next step. The tournament is played in the Challenge Stadium from 22 till 24 August.
The eight invited players make no mistakes in the first round as they all win. The first edition of the Perth Masters Darts gets it’s dream final between Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen. Taylor wins a great final with 11-9 and wins his first World Tour event of 2014.
