The second edition of the European Darts Grand Prix is won by Belgian Kim Huybrechts. The Hurricane defeats Peter Wright 6-5 in the final after trailing 2-5. Defending champion Mervyn King loses in the third round to the fantastic playing Austrian Mensur Suljovic. A round earlier Suljovic was also responsible for the elimination of the number one seed Michael van Gerwen. The Austrian eventually loses in the semi-final against Peter Wright.

Huybrechts en route to the final beats Dave Ladley, Steve Beaton, Michael Smith and James Wade. The Belgian grabs his second Euro Tour win with this win after the Dutch Darts Masters in 2013.
