The second edition of the BDO World Trophy was held at Event City in Manchester from 26 February till 1 March 2015. Geert de Vos from Belgium beats Jeffrey de Graaf in the final with 10-9. The Dutchman missed a match dart in the final.

The second BDO World Trophy has to cope without a sponsor and therefore the prize drops considerably. Scott Waites had to withdraw prior to the tournament start due to physical problems. During the tournament, the top names exit early. Martin Adams, Tony O'Shea and Ross Montgomery all het beat in the first round. World Champion Scott Mitchell, Martin Phillips, Darryl Fitton and Jamie Hughes loose in round two.

That means new names in the semi-finals. Jeffrey de Graaf beats Canadian Jeff Smith and Geert de Vos beats Englishman Mark McGeeney. Ultimately, it is the Belgian Geert de Vos who takes the title, the first major title for Belgium since the Winmau World Masters in 1995 when Erik Clarys won.
